Makayla mini MD 304 will not turn on. With power on and tank out it will blink slow red light, which is appropriete. With empty tank in, and power on switch depressed, the magnetic sensor with blink rad rapidly but will not turn on. Water level sensor works properly.

My dehumidifier is underperforming- have ensured good ventilation, air temp etc. Humidity remains high and device not filling tank as quickly as it has previously. Suggestions?
It is on but collects no water. The filter is clean, I have toothbrushed all opened I can see incase clogged and nothing. Use to work fine, but no collects nothing and in a bathroom with no windows and humidity gage says 67%. It should be getting something like it did before.
