MP-100DBT Description of the Device The MP-100DBT is a media player. It can be installed in a standard 19-inch rack. It supports multiple (wireless) media sources, such as: DAB+, FM radio, AUX in/out and Bluetooth. The device can be operated manually or with the supplied IR remote control. -

MP-100DBT Rack Mounting The device can be mounted in a standard 19-inch rack. The device requires 1 rack unit (U) of space, which is 44,5 mm high. Make sure that the rack is sufficiently secured to prevent it from becoming unstable or falling over. -

MP-100DBT Switching On/Off The device has a power button. ● Press the power button (03) to switch on the device. If the power LED indicator (Blue) (02) is on, the device is powered. ● Release the power button (03) to switch off the device. -

MP-100DBT Operation Safety Instructions for Operation Attention This device must be used only for the purposes it is designed for. This device is intended for use as a professional media player. It is suitable only for indoor installation. Any other use, not mentioned under intended use, is regarded as non-intended and incorrect use. -

MP-100DBT FM Radio Mode In this menu you can search for FM radio stations, select them and listen to them. If needed, you can manually tune the radio stations and save presets. Press the MODE button (F) until the display shows: Auto Scan In this menu you can search for available FM radio stations. -

MP-100DBT Selecting Radio Stations In this menu you can select the saved FM presets. Press the REPEAT button (E). The display shows: Press the VOLUME +/FORWARD button (B) and the VOLUME –/BACKWARD button (G) to select one of the saved FM presets. -

MP-100DBT Aux Mode In this menu you can play music files from the audio devices connected to the Balanced 3,5 mm TRS jack connector AUX IN (07) or to the (Line 1–4) RCA analog line-level connectors IN (16). Press the MODE button (F) until the display shows: Turn the input selector (08) to activate a desired input. -

MP-100DBT Selecting Radio Stations In this menu you can select the found DAB+ radio stations. Press the VOLUME +/FORWARD button (B) and the VOLUME –/BACKWARD button (G) to select one of the found DAB+ radio stations. The display shows: Press the PLAY/PAUSE button (D) to confirm. The device will activate the selected DAB+ radio station. -

Press the MODE button (F) until the display shows: For this function to work, you need to pair your mobile device and the MP-100DBT via Bluetooth. Note: Bluetooth can only be used as a means to receive wireless audio signals. It is not possible to pair the device with other devices via Bluetooth. -

To use the device in the Bluetooth mode: Start Bluetooth on your mobile device. On your mobile device scan for the available Bluetooth devices. The ID of the MP-100DBT is “BLUETOOTH”. Pair your mobile device with the MP-100DBT. The display shows: On your mobile device, search for and play any music/video file or visit streaming services. -

MP-100DBT Playback Use the PLAY/PAUSE button (D) to start or pause playback. ● Press the PLAY/PAUSE button (D) to play the currently selected file. ● Press the PLAY/PAUSE button (D) again to pause the playback. Select Previous/Next File Use the VOLUME +/FORWARD button (B) and the VOLUME –/BACKWARD button (G) to select files backward/forward. -

MP-100DBT Settings Menu This menu contains all settings and device information. Press and hold down the STOP button (C) for 2 seconds to enter the menu. The display shows: The settings menu is visible in the bottom line of the display. -

MP-100DBT Manual Tune In this submenu you can manually search for DAB+ radio stations. If the signal quality of a DAB+ radio station is too low, that radio station will not be found in an auto scan. If you know the exact Band III DAB+ channel (5A–13F) assigned to that radio station, you can find it manually. -
