Intended Uses
Commodes allow for, or increase, independence when requiring the toilet,
particularly by compensating for impaired movement or disability.
Description
This robust commode is made from epoxy-coated steel and folds easily for
storage and transportation. The backrest and toilet seat are upholstered to
provide additional comfort for the user. Both seat and pan come complete
with lids for hygiene.
Instructions for use
1. Unfold the commode by gently pulling the rear legs away from the main
frame. Ensure the commode is fully unfolded and stable before use.
2. Slide the commode pan into the rails under the seat and place the seat
cover over the toilet seat.
3. Make sure the armrests are folded down for support.
4. If required, fold the armrests up for sideways transfers and for storage.
Cleaning and care
Clean frame with mild non-abrasive cleanser and water, then towel dry.
Clean seat with mild disinfectant, then towel dry. Clean pan after each use
with mild disinfectant, then towel dry.
Cautions
• The commode is not to be used to support more than 133kg /
292lbs / 20¾st
• Ensure the commode is suitable for the user
• Ensure the commode is fully unfolded and stable before each
use
• Under no circumstance should the commode be moved whilst
occupied
