much enjoyment.
Please carefully read the following instructions and warnings and retain this manual for future reference.
Firstly, carefully inspect the product and its power supply for signs of damage. If any are detected, please
do not use and refer back to your supplier.

CAUTIONS AND WARNINGS

This item is not a toy. Children must not play with the item.
•
Children over 12 may use this product but only with adult supervision.
•
Do not use with USB outputs from Computers, laptops and similar devices.
•
Only use the USB lead with approved 5V USB power adaptors.
•
While the rope part of this product can be used outdoors in sheltered areas any power supply and its
connecting lead must only be used in a secure dry indoor area. Water must not be allowed to ingress
into the USB connector/controller/power supply on the end of the lead.

INSTALLATION

Position the rope element of the product into the desired patten and fix in place. When using fixings
(not supplied) be careful not to "strangle" or "puncture" the rope light. Do not over tighten cable ties
or use cable clips that are too small. Fixing damage is not covered by the warranty.

While the rope element of the product can be used outdoors in sheltered areas the USB connector
can only be connected indoors and be must be configured in such a way as not to allow water to
ingress into the USB connector/controller or its USB power supply.

USE/CONTROL

The rope light can be controlled via the USB controller on the end of the rope light lead and also by the
remote control provided. The remote control will override the built-in controller.

BUILT-IN CONTROLLER

Pressing the button on the USB connector/controller will allow selection of different colours and patterns.
This is over ridden by the remote control.

REMOTE CONTROL

On: Turns the rope light on
Off: Turns the rope light off
Brightness up and down: Increase or decreases the brightness of the product
Coloured Buttons: Select the indicated colour
Auto: Auto Sequencing
Fade: Fades from colour to colour
Flash: Caused the unit to flash and change colour
Smooth: Slow twinkle effect
4H,6H,8H Time off: Setting these will switch the product off after the desired time has elapsed
