Installation 1. Select the mounting site. When you select the mounting site consider the following factors: • Is an AC power source available? • Is there enough room to open the housing door and make wiring connections (see Figure 2. The mounting feet and hardware to install the mounting feet are shipped in a bag inside the housing.
Wiring 1. Unscrew and remove the kep nuts from the AC terminal strip’s cover. 2. Route the AC wires through the conduit hub on the bottom of the housing. 3. Connect a line wire from the AC power source to the “H” terminal on the AC terminal strip. 4.

7. To wire the relay contacts, remove the contact-monitoring terminal(s) from the email/text generator module(s) if plugged in. 8. Connect the two wires to the terminal strip as follows (see Figure 4). a. Connect the common wire to the ground (bottom) terminal. b.
Initial Setup NOTE: If there are any errors or blank fields in a submitted form, the generator module(s) must be reset by holding down the button below the terminals. Always check that information is entered correctly before submitting forms. 1. Connect power to the email/text generator. The LED will light up green. 2.

5. After selecting the generator module’s network, the setup interface automatically opens up in a browser window. Allow the page to scan for WiFi networks. 6. Select the WiFi network that the generator will connect to. 7. Enter the WiFi password (case-sensitive) into the text field. 8.

9. Select the time-zone and enter the primary email address. NOTE: This email address will also be registered as the account’s username. To add more email addresses for receiving alerts, press the “+” icon. 10. Press “SAVE SETTINGS” to submit all information entered. Allow 30 seconds for initial setup to complete.
11. If the setup is successful, the buzzer will emit a long beep. If the setup is unsuccessful, the buzzer will emit three short beeps and the LED will flash orange. See “Troubleshooting” on page 20 for further instructions. 12. After successfully connecting the generator, a confirmation email is sent to the primary email address entered in Step 9.
Website Interface After the generator and cloud account have been set up, enter cloud.proteussensor.com/ into a computer, tablet, or mobile phone browser and log into the website interface. 1. Sensor List Item: The Home menu lists sensors connected to the logged-in profile. Each item lists the sensor’s name, the most recent event, and the last time the sensor sent an update.

Generator Settings The following table is a summary of user-adjustable options found on the Settings page: NOTE: Changing settings or contact information of one generator does not automatically change the settings of another generator. To duplicate preferred settings, each generator must be adjusted individually.
Setting Up Email and Text Notifications To activate text notifications, log into the generator’s website interface using the following link: cloud.proteussensor.com/. 1. While viewing the Home screen, press “Settings” or the gear icon. 2. While in the Settings View, scroll down to the “Notifications” section of the page. 3.
Alarm Logs View The Alarm Logs view shows all contact and status changes since the generator’s initial setup. The screenshots in the following figure are from the desktop version of the website interface to clearly display the Logs table and the Download Alarm Logs feature. 1.
