Introduction This multi-function Jump Starter is an efficient but extremely compact emergency engine starting power pack and mobile power bank. It also features a bright LED to illuminate the work area (flashing mode can be used as an emergency beacon), two USB outputs (for charging mobile phones, etc), a Type-C input/output port and a digital voltage display on the cable clamp adaptor.

Instructions Vehicle Starting Procedure: Note: Always refer to the vehicle manufacturer’s documentation (handbook or workshop manual) for their recommended jump start instructions. Fig 4 1. Switch all of the vehicle’s electrical devices OFF. 2. Wear eye protection. 3. Refer to Figures 3 and 4. Peel back the cover to the jump start port (4) and connect the cable clamp adaptor (connect firmly).

Instructions 6. Connect the supplied red cable clamp to the (+) positive terminal of the vehicle’s battery first. Then connect the black cable clamp to the (-) negative terminal of the vehicle’s battery. Screen will now display available voltage. 7. Start the vehicle. Limit your starting attempts to a maximum of 4-5 seconds at a time.

Precautions • Danger of sparking: (explosion risk) if vehicle battery has recently been charged, ensure area is well ventilated and ensure eye protection is worn before connecting up the Jump Starter. • Danger of sparking: do not connect up the Jump Starter if there are any fuel leaks or fuel vapour present.
Error Messages Under certain conditions, error messages may be displayed on the cable clamp adaptor LCD screen: LOW VOLTAGE: When cable clamp adaptor is plugged into device — charge device. HIGH VOLTAGE: When cable clamp adaptor is plugged into device, flashing 888. REVERSE CHARGING: When device is connected up to car battery (current drain).

Error Messages REVERSE POLARITY: When battery clamps are connected the wrong way round, e.g., red (positive) clamp connected to (negative) battery terminal.
