The RPM button places the FPG in speed control mode. The LED indicator is green when the FPG is in speed control mode. On the 3050621 and 3050622 models of the FPG, holding the RPM mode button while RPM mode is engaged will display status messages on the status display (see 1.4.6 for a detailed list of messages). -

The pump pressure or engine speed setpoint is controlled by the + and – buttons on the 3050621 and 3050622 models of the FPG. The + and – buttons are also used to adjust configuration settings when the FPG is in the configuration menu mode. -

The FPG vehicle interlock logic design and implementation have critical safety implications if not done correctly. -

Operators must follow their organization’s standard operating procedures. Speed mode should not be used when discharges will be opened and closed as it could result in undesired pressure changes. -

The alarm output cannot be disabled using the configuration. The alarm output can be silenced for 1 minute by pressing the Status button on the knob version of the FPG, or by pressing the active mode button on the pushbutton version of the FPG. -

The 6 Pin connector is a Deutsch DT15-6P that is used on FPG models that do not have a pump intake pressure sensor or IC J1939 Bus. It mates with a Deutsch DT06-6S plug. This connector interfaces with the vehicle power, SAE J1939 CAN bus, and warning alarm. -
