Door or Window Open Alarm

Safety
• This product is intended for indoor use only.
• The siren is very loud and could cause permanent hearing damage
at close range.
• Make sure that no children or pets are exposed to the sound of
the siren.
• Do not mix new and old batteries or different types of batteries.
• The batteries should be removed if the product is not to be used
for an extended period, otherwise they might leak and damage the
product.

Installation
Adhesive tape is included for installation of the magnet and alarm unit.
The alarm is triggered when the distance between the magnet and the
alarm unit exceeds 8–15 mm. The alarm unit and the magnet both have
alignment arrows (5) which should be lined up during installation.
1. Slide the battery cover (4) upwards and insert three SR44 batteries in
accordance with the polarity markings in the battery compartment.
2. First select a suitable place on a door or window to install the alarm. Make
sure that the mounting surface is clean, dry and free from oil or grease.
3. Stick adhesive tape to magnet and alarm unit in the marked places.
Remove the liner paper from the adhesive tape and fasten the alarm
unit to the frame and the magnet to the door or window no more than
8 mm apart.
Instructions for use
The alarm unit will emit a number of beeps depending on which alarm
mode is selected. Short-press [ SET ], listen to the number of beeps and
short-press [ SET ] again to advance to the next alarm mode described in
the table:

One beep The siren sounds if the
sounds window/door is opened and
stops when the window/door
is closed.
Two beeps A two-tone signal sounds once
sound when the door is opened.
Three beeps The siren sounds for 30
sound seconds if the window/door is
opened.
Four beeps The siren sounds if the
sound window/door is opened and
stops when the window/door
is closed.
Five beeps The siren sounds when the
sound window/door has been open
for 15 seconds. The alarm
will sound for 30 seconds.
The alarm will not sound if the
window/door is closed within
15 seconds.
Volume adjustment
Long-press [SET] for approximately 2 seconds to raise the volume of the
alarm. Long-press [SET] for approximately 2 seconds again to lower the
volume of the alarm.
Responsible disposal
This symbol indicates that the product should not be
disposed of with general household waste. This applies
throughout the entire EU. In order to prevent any harm to
the environment or health hazards caused by incorrect
waste disposal, the product must be handed in for
recycling so that the material can be disposed of in a
responsible manner. When recycling the product, take
it to your local collection facility or contact the place of
purchase. They will ensure that the product is disposed of
in an environmentally sound manner.
