INSTRUCTIONS FINNISH THROWING GAME:

Rules of the game:

This Finnish throwing game can be played individual and by multiple teams; minimal 2 players, maximal 8. The game can be played
outdoor on any surface.

Goal of the game:

Knock over as many posts as possible with the throwing stick to get a score of exactly 50 points.

Preparation:

Place the posts at a distance of 3-4 meters from the players. Keep the following order:
7 – 8 – 9
5 – 11 – 12 – 6
3 – 10 – 4
1 – 2

Course of the game:

The players throw underhand with the throwing stick, with the aim of overthrowing the numbered posts.
When you play individually, you throw in turn, in the same order. When you play in teams, player 1 of team 1 throws first, then
player 1 of team 2, and so on.
Throw with the throwing stick. You can write down the score for every overthrown post. So if you knocked over the posts with the
numbers 5, 3, 7 and 11 in one throw, your score is 26 points. After this it is the next player's turn.
When one post is knocked over, it is put up again for the next player on the spot where it fell. This means that during the game, the
distance between the posts is getting greater.
Attention: a post only counts as "knocked over", when it is not lying on another post (or the throwing stick). The post must be lying
flat on the ground.
If a player in 3 rounds in a row did not manage to knock over posts, he/she may no longer participate in the game. From that mo-
ment on he is keeping up the scores.
Add up the score of the players or teams each round. You have to achieve exactly 50 points. If you are scoring higher, you have to go
back to 25 points and you can try it again.

Spelregels:
Dit Finse werpspel kan zowel individueel als door meerdere teams gespeeld worden; minimaal 2 spelers, maximaal 8. Het spel kan
buiten worden gespeeld, op elke soort ondergrond.
Doel van het spel:
Zoveel mogelijk paaltjes omgooien met de werpstok, om een score van precies 50 punten te behalen.
Voorbereiding:
Zet de paaltjes op 3 à 4 meter van de spelers neer. Houd hierbij de volgende volgorde aan:
7 – 8 – 9
5 – 11 – 12 – 6
3 – 10 – 4
1 – 2
Spelverloop:
De spelers gooien onderhands met de werpstok, met het doel om de genummerde paaltjes om te gooien.
Als je individueel speelt, gooi je om de beurt, in steeds dezelfde volgorde. Als je in teams speelt, gaat speler 1 van team 1 eerst
gooien, dan speler 1 van team 2, en zo verder.
Gooi met de werpstok. Van elk omgegooid paaltje mag je de score noteren. Gooi je dus in één worp de paaltjes met de nummers 5,
3, 7 en 11 om, is je score 26 punten. Hierna is de volgende speler aan de beurt.
