  • Page 11 Note: This function is to prevent unsupervised children from operating the cooktop. It is not a malfunction. POWER SETTING Turn the knob to the desired temperature, from level 1(minimum) to level 9(maximum). TIMER Press the timer button on the left side of the burner to select the burner that needs to be timed, after selecting, the timer indicator of the corresponding burner will light up, then operate the timer knob to select the time.
  • Page 12 HINTS AND TIPS Cookware made of enamelled steel and with aluminum or copper bottoms can cause a color change on the glass-ceramic surface. The bottom of the cookware must be as thick and flat as possible. Ensure pan bases are clean and dry before placing on the hob surface EXAMPLES OF COOKING APPLICATIONS The data in the table is for guidance only.
  • Page 13 We recommend that you use only a flat-bottomed wok. The bottom of the wok should have the same diameter as the surface element to ensure proper contact. Do not use woks that have support rings. This type of wok will not heat on glass surface elements.

    Cast Iron: Not recommended—unless designed specifically for glass cooktops. Poor conductivity and slow to absorb heat. Will scratch the cooktop surface. CLEANING AND MAINTAINANCE To avoid damage to the cooktop, DO NOT use steel wool, abrasive powder cleansers, chlorine bleach, rust remover or ammonia. Always wipe with a clean, wet cloth or sponge and dry thoroughly to avoid streaking and staining.

    Cooktop Polishing Creme: Rub creme into surface with a damp paper towel or soft cloth. Continue rubbing until white film disappears. Scratches and abrasions do not affect cooking performance and after many cleanings become less noticeable. TROUBLESHOOTING Problem Cause/ Solution Appliance not connected.

    WARRANTY TTHOB warrants that the Product is free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of three hundred sixty-five (365) days from the date of purchase. The foregoing timeline begins to run upon the date of purchase, and shall not be stalled, tolled, extended, or suspended, for any reason whatsoever.
