LEANING ROCEDURE
Cleaning Procedure: Black Acetone Based Ink
•
Daily: The print nozzle on the face of the printer should be sprayed with the Acetone
External Cleaning Solution (EBS2A004AR) fluid and dry the nozzle plate face with a
microfiber cloth.
•
Every two days: The unit should be purged with cleaning fluid with the Acetone Cleaning
Cartridge (EBSXC40203-000)
Cleaning Procedure: White Acetone Based Ink
•
Daily:
o
The print nozzle on the face of the printer should be sprayed with the Acetone
External Cleaning Solution (EBS2A004AR) fluid and dry the nozzle plate face
with a microfiber cloth.
o
The unit should be purged with cleaning fluid with the Acetone Cleaning
Cartridge (EBSXC40203-000)
Cleaning Procedure: Pigmented MEK Based Ink
•
Daily:
o The print nozzle on the face of the printer should be sprayed with the MEK
External Cleaning Solution (EBS3A001KR) fluid and dry the nozzle plate face
with a microfiber cloth.
o The unit should be purged with cleaning fluid with the Acetone Cleaning
Cartridge (EBSXC40001-000)
How-To Purge:
•
Power down the printer
o
Remove the ink cartridge
o
Install a cleaning cartridge, ensure you have the proper cleaning cartridge (your
cleaning cartridge should match the type of ink your printer is configured to print)
or the printer will not accept the cartridge.
o
Power on the printer and press Start, you will hear the printer begin to pressurize
o
When the printer has completed pressurization, press stop
•
In a well-ventilated area press and hold the start icon on the right side of the screen
o Select Purge
o Point the printer towards a scrap piece of cardboard/hazmat container
o Hold down the trigger and the unit will sound and fire all 32 nozzles at once.
o Purge the unit for approximately 30-40 seconds or until the ink is replaced by
cleaning solution.
