This Starter Pack FLS-1750 includes:

fig. 1 1 x 5 meter Flexi LED Strip RGB (provided with adhesive tape);
fig. 2 1 x 12V DC 24W adapter with 1,5 m cable;
fig. 3 1 x RGB LED controller with built-in infrared receiver;
fig. 4 1 x RGB remote control (24 key, batt.3V lithium CR2025 included);

Features and characteristics

The Starter Pack LED Strip FLS-1750 is ideal for countless domestic and professional applications, interior use only, and has many advantages: high energy efficiency, low power consumption, low heat generation, long life time (20.000h), nice RGB lighting effects, ...

• The Starter Pack includes 5 meter water resistant LED Strip (IP20) with self adhesive tape which allows you to easily mount the LED Strip on dry surfaces.
• The 12V - 24W adapter, cables and accessories allow you to "plug & play" (see Installation).
• The RGB LED controller and remote control allow the selection of 16 colors, the desired brightness, lighting effects and color transitions.
• The LED Strip can be cut to the desired size every 10 cm (see Installation).

Safety instructions

Before installing or using the LED Strip make sure you keep in mind the following precautions:

• This LED Strip is designed for indoor use only. Protect it from humidity, dust and high temperatures (see Technical data)
• Keep the LED Strip and its accessories away from fire, direct sunlight and water (rain, moisture, ...).
• Protect the content of this pack against shocks and misuse upon installation and operation.
• Avoid electrostatic discharge upon extension of the LED Strip to prevent defects.
• Do not exceed the operating/storage temperature of the LED Strip and its accessories (see Technical data). Operating temperature: 0°C ~45°C; storage temperature: -40°C ~80°C.
• All adjustments other than those described in this manual are prohibited for safety reasons.
• Make sure you disconnect the LED Strip and its accessories before cleaning.
• This product is not intended for use by young children without the supervision of an adult.
• In case of sensitivity to flashing lights, avoid prolonged exposure.
• Do not look directly into the burning LEDs for a longer period of time as this could damage your eyes.

Installation

Remove the protective battery film on the back of the remote (fig.4.a).

1. Check proper functioning
   Before installing this product it is important to check the proper functioning of the LED Strip and its accessories. Please follow the instructions under Step 2 on how to connect all parts.
2. Connecting LED Strip and accessories
   Connect the LED Strip with the RGB LED Controller. Next, attach the 12V DC 24W power adapter to the RGB LED controller as shown below and connect the power adapter to the mains (220V-240V).
   
   
3. Cutting LED Strip
   The LED Strip can be cut with scissors every 10 cm on the straight line indicated with . HINT: Cover the +/- poles on both sides of the straight line with a hard object to avoid damaging them upon cutting.
4. Check ideal location of RGB LED controller (IR receiver) & power supply
   Please make sure that: you avoid all possible obstacles (wall, furniture, ...) in front of the IR receiver of the RGB LED controller (fig. 3c) to ensure the proper functioning of the remote control.

• there is a power outlet available for the AC/DC power adapter.

5. Mounting LED Strip
   You can now fix the LED Strip to the desired location by peeling off the paper on the back of the LED Strip. Make sure the surface is free from dust, dirt, grease and moisture before mounting the LED Strip.
6. Using the LED Strip – functions of remote control
   To operate the LED Strip the remote control (fig. 4) is required. It comes with a 3V lithium battery (type CR2025). To replace the battery when depleted, push the lid on the back of the remote to the right and pull out the battery holder at the same time.
   The remote has a total of 24 buttons for the selection of 16 fixed colors, 4 color effects, ON/OFF and light decrease/increase.
   The distance between the remote control and the IR receiver (fig. 3c) amounts to 10 meter under ideal circumstances; a clear line of sight between the remote control and the IR receiver is required.

How to use the remote control

1. Remove the protective battery film on the back of the remote (fig.4.a).
2. Aim the remote at the IR receiver and press on to switch on the LED Strip. The RGB LED controller shows the last saved color.
3. Press the color button of your choice.
4. Use the and/or to change the light intensity of one of the 16 fixed color settings.
5. Choose FLASH, STROBE, FADE or SMOOTH to generate the corresponding transition effect.
6. Press the or button to either soften or amplify the effect.
   E.g.: When choosing STROBE and pressing several times, the light will become more intense and the transition speed will increase.
   HINT: to avoid flashing light, make sure to press several times before choosing the desired effect.
7. Press OFF to switch off the LED Strip.

RGB LED controller (fig. 3):
Input voltage: DC 12V, Output voltage: max. 6A,
Single-channel output: The rated power is 60W, the maximum work rate is 72W.

Infrared (IR) remote control (fig. 4):
The IR Remote Controller uses ultra-low-power computer chips to ensure long-term use of battery and precise control. The shell is made from PVC.
Range: Ca 6m
Detection angle: ca. 30°
