Overview Overview Use this guide to install and set up the Location Messaging Units LMU 2630MB (VLP-LMUE1Y1). The LMU Controller provides vehicle tracking to view in AVL GPS Tracking (a.k.a. vMax Live+ 5.0) for users on AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Telus, Bell and Rogers cell networks.

The LMU Controller replaces GPS4 functionality on the DVR. IMPORTANT If you are replacing an LMU27, you can keep the same harnesses as long as the length allows the new LMU to be installed on the dash with its label facing the sky.
