There are two cables that... - Page 3 Mantis that need to be plugged into an outlet (12V External Power Supply and 5V Internal Power Supply). Start by plugging the 12V External Power Supply male adapter into the female adapter and plug both power supplies into an outlet. (See Figure 1).
- Page 4 2. After plugging in your Mantis, open the “Network & Internet Settings” tab on your computer and find the WI-FI name that matches the SSID of the sticker on the back of the Mantis. (See Figure 2). This WI-FI network will allow you to communicate with the Mantis. Note: After being plugged in, your Mantis may take 60 seconds to emit a signal.
- Page 5 3D printable files. *Note: For this step you will need to disconnect from the Mantis Wi-Fi and connect to your internet. Once connected to the internet choose one of the recommended Thingiverse prints from below. After that, you will want to download the file and then extract the file.
- Page 6 5. Once you have selected the file you wish to print, just press ‘Print’ and your Mantis will now begin the printing process. You can see your file moving through the progress bar and once moved to the print portion the printer will begin heating up.

Gently squeeze lever in order to feed the filament through the tubing g. Release the lever when the filament end reaches the black push down button right before the filament reaches the extruder h.
