To remove the filter on NEKTRA part number 3291058, follow these steps:

1. After about 30 hours of use, remove the aluminum filters for cleaning.
2. Clean the filters by hand in hot soapy water or in the dishwasher.
3. For heavy soil, use a degreasing detergent and soak the filters.
4. Dry the filters completely before reinstalling them in the hood.

Damaged filters should be replaced.

Do not use corrosive or abrasive detergent (e.g. scouring powder, oven cleaner, steel wool or scouring pad) which will scratch and damage the surface. For heavier soil, use liquid degreaser. After cleaning, you may use a non abrasive stainless steel polish to polish and bring back the shine.
