WARNING: AVOID INJURY. Read and
understand Assembly Safety Rules before
proceeding.
Tools required:
• socket wrench, 15/16"
• tire gauge
Unpack Unit
Remove unit and all other components from the
shipping container.
Assemble and Install Deck
Park unit on level surface, engage parking brake, shut
off engine, and remove ignition key.
To assemble:
1. Remove belt cover.
2. Route the long mower belt through pulleys
(Figure 4).

3. Hook the two idler springs to the idler arm.
To install:
1. Remove lift cylinder from shipping position on
front of Promaster 310. Save hardware.
2. Attach mower to unit with mounting hardware
(Figure 5).
NOTE: Removing drive wheels from Promaster 310 will
make installation easier.

3. Install long mower belt to electric clutch pulley on
unit.
4. Attach springs on idler arm to spring bracket.
5. Attach lift cylinder to deck (Figure 6).
NOTE: Use hardware located in hardware bag as well
as hardware saved in step 1 when mounting lift cylinder
to deck.
