Find your theme!
Your Nokia 3220 phone comes with 7 awesome, preloaded themes and even more
available for download! A theme customizes 4 features on your Nokia 3220 phone:
• Color scheme: the color used on the display menus.
• Wallpaper: the image displayed on the Start screen.
• Screen saver: the animation on the Start screen when the phone is idle.
• Ring tone: MIDI ring tone.
Change your theme
1. From the Start screen, press Menu.
2. Scroll to highlight Settings (fig. 4.1).
3. Press Select.
4. Scroll down to highlight Themes and press Select.
5. With Select theme highlighted, press Select (fig. 4.2).
6. With the Themes folder highlighted, press Open.
7. Scroll through available themes and press Open to preview
the theme.
8. To change the theme, highlight the theme and press Options.
9. With Apply theme highlighted, press Select.

Your Nokia 3220 phone comes with a plastic stencil to create
a cover that is uniquely you.
Create your cover
1. Place the stencil over the printed page you want to use
as your cover.
2. Draw the outline of the phone onto the page (fig. 5.1a).
3. Carefully cut out your new cover (fig. 5.1b).
Change your cover
Before removing the cover, switch off the power and
disconnect the charger and any other device.
1. Push the back cover release button and gently
press the back cover away from the phone (fig. 5.2).
2. Position the new cut-out cover on the back of the phone by
sliding it under the two guides at the bottom and under
the guide at the top (fig. 5.3).
3. Align the top of the back cover with the top of the phone,
and press the bottom of the back cover to lock it in place.
Note: Use either normal plain paper as used in standard printers or a photographic
paper that is no thicker than 0.3 mm. The material you use must not contain metal
particles, as these will affect the performance of the phone antenna.
