    Purpose of these operating instructions Purpose of these operating instructions These operating instructions will help you to use the ionisation air purifier "PL1001A", hereinafter referred to as the "module", safely and advantageously in accordance with its intended use. Every person who uses, operates or otherwise works with this appliance must have read and un- derstood the complete contents of these operating instructions.

    Purpose of these operating instructions Responsibilities, target group 1.5.1 Responsibility of the operator The operator of the system/module is responsible for ensuring that every person who works with the module has been instructed precisely on the basis of these operating instructions (commission- ing, operation, maintenance).

To ensure that all instructions are understood, the training must be given in the language of the re- spective personnel.

    Security General Safety information The module corresponds to the current state of the art and the recognised safety rules, but danger- ous situations can still arise. Some dangers cannot be solved at the design level, but only by following the safety instructions in this operating manual (residual dangers).
  • Page 11 Security • Disconnect the upstream ventilation system from the electrical power supply (if present) before carrying out any maintenance work. • Do not modify the module and use it only for the intended purpose, according to section page 13 "Intended use". Other uses are only permitted with the written consent of the operator. The manufacturer declines all liability for damage resulting from failure to observe this instruction.

The workplace situation during assembly depends on the existing conditions and cannot be pre- sented in a generalised way. Emergency stop devices There are no emergency stop devices installed on the module and the control unit.

  • Page 25 Assembly and commissioning 5.1.2 Assembly  Proceed as follows to assemble the ionising air purifier and its components correctly:  Determine the mounting location for the control module (1) and the high voltage generation (2).  Determine the mounting location for the plasma module in the ventilation duct.
  • Page 26 Assembly and commissioning  Insert the screw with spring washer from the outside into the attached holes in the ventila- tion duct.  Put a washer (1) on each of the two screws.  Screw one M8 nut (2) onto each of the two screws.
  • Page 27 Assembly and commissioning  Then fix the high voltage generator (x) a maxi- mum of 10 cm away from the module con- nector.  Attach the high voltage generator to the out- side of the ventilation duct.  Use suitable fasteners for this purpose. The high-voltage cable must not be changed or manipulated.
