Material Needed

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

1.
CHECK OIL – IMPORTANT: ADD OR CHECK OIL WITH THE BLADE OFF
AND THE SAW DOWN. USE SAE 10w/30 IF NEEDED.
2.
WITH A FUNNEL, ADD UNLEADED GASOLINE, USE CAUTION. DO NOT SPILL
FUEL.
3.
DETERMINE THE PROPER BLADE SERIES.
4.
TURN THE GAS VALVE TO THE ON POSITION. PRIOR TO STARTING SAW, PUT
KEY SWITCH TO ON POSITION, SO SWITCHES WILL BE ACTIVATED.
5.
RAISE BLADE BY PRESSING THE BLADE SWITCH TO THE UP POSITION.
6.
PUSH FWD/SPD SWITCH DOWN INTO NEUTRAL POSITION INDICATED BY RED
LIGHT ON SWITCH PANEL (LABELED NEUTRAL).
7.
RPM LEVER ADJUSTS THROTTLE SPEED.
8.
PULL CHOKE LEVER UP.
9.
TURN KEY TO START, THEN RELEASE TO THE ON POSITION.
10. PUSH CHOKE DOWN SLOWLY.
11. WARM UP MOTOR. (HOUR METER RUNS WHEN SWITCH IS IN THE ON
POSITION, EVEN IF THE MOTOR IS NOT RUNNING)
12. MANUALLY LOWER THE FRONT GUIDE DOWN.
13. TO LINE UP THE SAW WITH THE CHALK LIN
(YELLOW WHEEL) AND THE TRIANGLE POINTER ON THE BACK OF THE
BLADE BLOCK AND REAR GUIDE.
14. RAISE THE RPM'S TO MAXIMUM, USING
RPM LEVER.
15. LOWER THE BLADE IN THE CONCRETE
SLOWLY BY PRESSING THE BLADE SWITCH
TO THE DOWN POSITION.
16. PUSH THE FWD/SPD SWITCH WITH SHORT
TAPPING INTERVALS, (FORWARD SPEED IS
VERY SENSITIVE).
17. AFTER CUTTING FOR 100 FEET ON A NEW
BLADE AT A SLOWER FORWARD SPEED,
