The Adventure Kings AKEP-LJS1000A jump starter may not be holding a charge due to several possible reasons:
1. Low Voltage – If the voltage of the jump starter is too low, it may need to be recharged. 2. Faulty Battery – The internal lithium-ion battery may be defective or degraded. 3. Improper Charging – Ensure the jump starter is charged using a Type-C plug with the correct input (9V/2A). 4. Extreme Temperatures – Using or storing the unit outside the safe operating range (-20°C to 60°C) may affect battery performance. 5. Internal Damage or Manufacturing Defect – If the unit has a manufacturing defect, it may be covered under the 12-month warranty.
If the issue persists, charging the unit fully and checking for any visible damage or defects is recommended.
