Fans with a cable (P), fans with a switch and cable (WP), fans with a timer, switch, and cable (TWP), and fans with a humidity sensor, switch and cable (HWP) shall be connected to a power outlet.

Switch W

The fan that is equipped with a pull-down switch is turned on and off by pulling down the string that is located on the bottom of the fan.

Cable P

Cable powered fan is equipped with a 1.9 m long cable that may be connected to a power outlet.

Switch and Cable WP

A fan that is equipped with a pull-down switch and cable shall be connoted to a power outlet. The fan is turned on and off by pulling down the string that is located on the bottom of the fan.

Timer T

The fan is turned on by the S1 power switch (Fig. 4) or by turning on the light (Fig. 5). After turning off the light or the switch, the fan continues its operation for a specific time interval that is set up by a controller. This interval may be 0 to 30 minutes long.

Humidity Sensor H

The fan is equipped with a humidity level control that may be used to set the level of humidity from 50%RH - 90%RH and a delay control that may be used to set the delay from 0 to 30 min. The fan is turned on automatically when a certain humidity level is reached in the room or it may be turned on manually by a switch. Connection diagram is shown in Fig. 3. The fan is turned off after a pre-set time interval. Humidity and delay controllers are located on the control unit (Fig. 7).

When connecting the fan to the power network, set the right-side controller to "0 min" and the left-side controller to "Low Level of Humidity". With these settings the fan should work without stopping. The following steps shall be carried out in order to specify the humidity level that triggers the fan:

  1. Turn the humidity level controller to "High Level of Humidity". The fan should turn off after 2 seconds.
  2. Turn the humidity level controller towards "Low Level of Humidity" until the fan turns off. Turn the controller back by 10°. The fan will turn off after around 2 - 10 seconds.
  3. To check if the fan is operating correctly, blow on the humidity sensor from a distance of 10 cm. The fan should turn on after blowing air on it.

Timer, Cable, and Switch TWP

It turns on after the pre-set time interval by pulling down the string on the bottom of the fan once more or if humidity in the room drops to a certain level. To adjust the humidity sensor, see section "Humidity Sensor H".

Fans with electronic control unit must be adjusted before they are connected to the power network.
