*Check front sticker of product packaging box to see if lighting accessories are included in your system.
Connect the cord on the back of the television to the TV port on the left side of the Control Box.
Connect the cord on the Solar Panel to one of the ports, labeled with a sun icon, on the back of the Control Box.
Keep the Control Box out of reach of children - we recommend installing it 1.5 meters off the ground.
Place 2 nails into the wall according to Control Box attachment points.
Place Control Box over the nails and slide down to secure position.
To keep panel clean, place the Solar Panel high on the roof and at an angle.
Avoid shadows caused by trees or buildings - this will make less power.
Use the USB port(s) on the right side of the Control Box to connect your device.
For greatest power input charge devices during the day.
View your Battery Level (Screen 1) on your Control Box display. It will take 4-6 hours to fully charge your system, depending on sun strength and if lights or TV are in use or if electronics are charging.
When your system has less then 5% battery it will automatically go into reserve power mode.
TV, 12V port, and USB ports are not available in reserve power mode. If lights are connected to the system they will still work.
Your system's power supply is directly affected by the strength of the sun which will vary by weather, season, and time of the day.
See current sun strength on Screen 2 of your Control Box display.
Screen 5 shows the number of days paid for and number of days remaining to be paid to complete ownership.
Navigate to Screen 6. Using numbered buttons, enter your 15-digit code.
Upon submission, you will either see a SUCCESS message or a prompt to re-enter your code.
NOTE: Only applies if Hanging Lights are included in your system
Remove Control Box from wall and connect hanging light cords to the ports on the back of the box as shown.
Connect systems using a Mini Fit Connector (not included). Once connected navigate to Screen 6. Using numbered buttons, enter your 15-digit code.
Once systems are connected do not disconnect.
When you connect your SolarHome 5000 to another system it becomes the primary unit. All payments must be made through the primary unit.
All credits and power are automatically shared when unit is paired.
Keep Solar Panel clean and free of obstructions for best performance.
Do not connect Solar Panel directly to a phone or any other device.
Keep all cables and connectors free from water and dirt.
Never expose the product to high temperatures or fire.
Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the product. Contact customer service for any necessary repairs or replacements.

Adjust and clean solar panel
Adjust the angle and position of Solar Panel for optimum charge from the sun. Use a wet cloth to clean Solar Panel.
