ON/OFF SWITCH TELEBEEPER and BEEPER

When the Beeper is switched on, it automatically checks the battery charge.
If the battery charge is low, the unit gives a warning sound for 6 seconds after the normal 'on' signal.

Move the two marked points together until the unit gives a beep to confirm that it is switched on. Repeat the same operation for switching off (two beeps).

SET UP COMMUTATOR

SWITCH 1: Turns the volume down if set in ON position.
SWITCH 2: Beeps every 7 seconds if set in the ON position.
SWITCH 3-4: Selects four different sounds:

Sound 1: Low frequency
Sound 2: Medium frequency
Sound 3: Medium frequency
Sound 4: High frequency

REMOTE CONTROL CODE

All remote controls are programmed with the same code and match with the Telebeeper colour (e.g. the RED button on the remote control only works with a RED Telebeeper, the YELLOW button with a YELLOW Telebeeper, and so on).

To customise the remote control code, do as follows:
PROGRAMMING THE REMOTE CONTROL:

1. Remove cover C from the battery compartment.
2. Remove the first battery A1.
3. Press button 6 inside the remote control.
4. Keeping button 6 pressed, press external button 5.
5. Release button 6 and after 2-3 seconds release button 5.

The remote control will now choose a new random code. To transfer the new code from the remote control to the appliance, do as follows (see next page).

TELEBEEPER CODE

When a code different from the original one has been selected on the remote control, do as follows to transfer it from the remote control to the Telebeeper:

1. Open the Telebeeper.
   
   
2. Switch it on, keeping the battery pressed down.
   
   
3. Keep the memory button n? pressed down, until the green light starts flashing. Release it and then press the button matching t h e Bepeer colour in the upper row on the remote control.
   

INSTRUCTIONS FOR BATTERY USE

CHANGING THE BATTERIES:
Replace batteries as soon as necessary, being careful to match polarity and power when doing so.

DISPOSAL OF THE BATTERIES:
Before throwing away an appliance, remove the batteries and dispose of them paying careful attention to environmental concerns. Batteries must not be thrown into household rubbish.

ACID LEAKAGE
If you are not using the appliance for a long time, we recommend that you remove the batteries to avoid acid leakage and consequent corrosion of the appliance. If acid leakage does occur, wash all parts with running water and dry with care.

BATTERIES
Do not use lithium batteries with this appliance.
Using unsuitable batteries carries the risk of explosion.

IN CASE OF PROBLEMS

Keep all components included in the packaging, and the receipt. If the appliance malfunctions, contact us directly.

If repair or replacement of the item is necessary, please send all the components included in the packaging when purchased to MULTISOUND s.n.c.

Do not try to repair or modify the components. Only our assistance centre is qualified to carry out repairs.

If the components have been tampered with in any way, MULTISOUND s.n.c. reserves the right to charge the cost of repairs to the customer even if under guarantee.

GUARANTEE

THE GUARANTEE INCLUDES:

• Repair of the appliance within 48 hours of its arrivalat our assistance centre, for any fault for which our firm is responsible.

THE GUARANTEE DOES NOT INCLUDE:

• Damage caused by repairs carried out by non-qualified staff.
• Transportation.
• Damages caused by leakage of acid from batteries.
• Any damage caused by improper use of the appliance.

We recommend that you keep the appliance clean. In particular clean the closure and the seal.

We also recommend that you clean the appliance before posting it back to our assistance centre. Collars which are soiled will be returned to sender.
