Remote Examiner measures the level of radio frequency (RF) in the ranges:
- 100 – 1000 MHz (automotive central locking – keyless entry),
- 120 -140 kHz (ignition locks systems, powering RFID systems),
- Infra-Red (IR) presence and it's level.

To turn ON – press shortly SELECT button. If you power Remote Examiner via USB socket device turnes ON automatically – with LED
backlight.
To turn OFF – press and hold SELECT button till you hear signal.
The device will be turn off automatically if it does not detect external input signals (RF and IR) for 45 approximately seconds – when
in battery powered mode. Remote Examiner does not turn OFF automatically when it is connected to USB power.
When in battery mode, you can find indicator of battery power level
You need to charge the battery when the indicator goes blank (there are no more vertical stripes). Battery power indicator does not
appear, when Remote Examiner is connected to USB.

Place Remote Examiner near the testing source – as usually near ignition lock and turn ignition ON (see picture below).
