    2. SAFETY Caution! Operation of this device is only permitted if the exist- ing electrical installation complies with legal standards. The appliance should only be connected to an installation with a residual current device (30mA) and a socket with protective earth. The socket should be placed in a moisture-free place, at least 2 metres from the water’s edge.

    If the power cord, ballast, UV-C lamp or housing is damaged, it should no longer be used. 2.A PREPARING THE UV-C DEVICE FOR POND USE • Mount the unit on a solid surface in a well-ventilated area. • Attach the largest size hose to the supplied hose couplings, this reduces the capacity less.

    3.A DISMANTLING THE UV-C DEVICE - REPLACING THE UV-C LAMP - CLEANING Open the head in the direction indicated. Remove the head together with the UV-C lamp from the housing. Remove the UV-C lamp from the holder and replace as needed. Open up the 4 screws.

    2. VEILIGHEID Let op! Het gebruik van dit apparaat is alleen toegestaan als de aanwezige elektrische installatie voldoet aan de wettelijke nor- men. Het apparaat mag alleen aangesloten worden op een installatie met een aard- lekschakelaar (30mA) en een contactdoos met randaarde. De contactdoos dient op een vochtvrije plaats, minstens 2 meter van de rand van het water geplaatst te zijn.

    2. SICHERHEIT Vorsicht! Der Betrieb dieses Geräts ist nur zulässig, wenn die vorhandene Elektroinstallation den gesetzlichen Normen entspricht. Das Gerät darf nur an eine Anlage mit einem Fehlerstromschutzschalter (30mA) und einer Steckdose mit Schutzleiter angeschlossen werden. Die Steckdose sollte an einem feuchtigkeitsfreien Ort platziert werden, mind- estens 2 Meter vom Wasser entfernt.

    Gardez la fiche à l’abri de l’humidité. Pour éviter que l’eau ne coule le long du cordon jusqu’à la fiche, il faut former une boucle. Avant de mettre l’appareil en service, il faut examiner l’appareil pour détecter d’éventuels dommages. Si le câble d’alimentation, le ballast, la lampe UV-C ou le boîtier sont endommagés, ils ne peuvent plus être utilisés.
