Data — Memory used to store application data, such as image files. Data
memory determines memory space available to download additional Java
applications.
Program — Memory used to install and run applications.
Heap — Random Access Memory (RAM) available to run a Java
application.
To check how much memory your phone has available for Java applications:
From the Java Apps screen, press R to scroll to Java System.

Press B under SELECT.

Press B under NEXT.

To see more memory information, press B under NEXT again.

NOTE: Java application data and Voice Record share the same memory
space on your phone. Using a large amount of memory to store
Voice Records reduces the space available for Java application
data. You can create more memory space to download Java
applications by deleting stored Voice Records. See "Deleting a
Voice Record" on page 130.

Deinstalling Java Apps

To remove Java applications from your phone:

From the Java Apps screen, press
