INTRODUCTION

The AF940R (fig. 1) remote control allows connecting (fully or partially) and disconnecting an AVE radio burglar alarm control panel or enabling a panic alarm by interacting by radio with the alarm control panel itself.
It allows control of 1 channel radio receiver R1R and of radio receiver for shutter motor control RT1R as well.

AVE Spa declares that the AF904R remote control is in compliance with the essential requirements and other relevant provisions of Directive 1999/5/EC directive.
Moreover, it complies with the EN 50130-4 and EN 50081-1 standards.

OPERATION

The AF940R remote control interacts with the radio receivers radio burglar alarm control panels, and radio receivers as shown in figure 2.

The four keys on board can send the following controls to radio burglar alarm control units and receivers.

Note1: the functionality described in the table of Grey/Red key depends on Jumper JP1 on the electronic board of the remote control. (figure 3)

HOW TO REPLACE THE BATTERY

To replace the battery, proceed as follows and refer to figure 3:

  • Open the enclosure after removing the screw closing the enclosure

  • Replace the batteries housed in their seats according to the polarities indicated (the batteries are mounted one over the other to make their connection in series).

  • Close the enclosure again
