    1. English Manual Hello & Welcome! You are now the proud owner of a Black Tea Bonfire. Welcome to our rider community. We are very flattered that you have chosen Black Tea Motorbikes for your upcoming adventures. It is now our duty to do our best to provide you with product information, service and spare parts, and offer you a hassle-free experience.

    If you receive a fully assembled motorcycle, you will only need to install the mirrors and reflectors before your first ride. If you receive your Bonfire in a box on a pallet, you will have to unpack it and do the final assembly yourself.

    Driving When you ride the Bonfire for the first time, there are a few things to keep in mind. The bike has an electric motor with instant torque and a primary drive without gears, which means that you have all the power available at all times through the throttle. It is very sensitive, and it is highly recommended to ride in the first driving mode to get used to this type of vehicle.

  • Page 7 Serial number of the controller The serial number of the control unit is located on the top of the housing and becomes visible when one of the side covers is removed. Nameplate The European and US nameplates are located on the right side of the down tube. The stickers must not be altered or removed.

    "Active" is shown on the display to remind you that the bike is still on. Finish your ride 1. Unfold the side stand and make sure the Bonfire is stable. 2. To turn off your motorcycle, press the unlock button (C) once. Now the lights and the display should go off.
  • Page 10 Power mode 1 - Eco This mode is always recommended when you ride a Bonfire for the first time. It has a limited top speed of 65 km/h and smooth acceleration. Power mode 2 - Normal With a top speed of 80 km/h and good acceleration, this mode is perfect for country roads.
  • Page 11 Important: Always charge both batteries at the same time using the two chargers provided. If you have a Bonfire S or Bonfire E, it is enough to connect only one battery. With a second battery you can double your range.
  • Page 12 Emergency operation You can recognize emergency operation by the fact that the engine control lamp lights up and the vehicle drives significantly slower, i.e. with reduced torque. Battery undervoltage If the voltage is outside the normal range of the battery, e.g. in the case of an empty battery, the power is limited in order not to damage the battery or other components of the drive train.

    1.4.1. Before and after each trip To ensure that your bike is always in good condition and to avoid injury or damage, please make sure that you always maintain your Bonfire with the following steps. - Check your entire motorcycle (according to chapter 3.2.) - Check the wheels (see chapter 3.3.)
  • Page 14 1.4.3. Wheels and tires The wheels should be inflated to a pressure of 230 kPa. Check your spokes regularly. You must make sure that there are no loose spokes in the wheel. - Check that the tires are inflated to the correct pressure. - Check that the tire tread is at least 3 mm deep.

    Use the handle of the battery to take it out of the bike. Important: Always be careful when handling the battery. If it is dropped, visually inspect it and contact a Black Tea Motorbikes representative if it is damaged. 1.5.2. Charging the Battery Plug the charger into the wall socket and then connect the battery.

    1.6. Ownership and Operation 1.6.1. Maintenance and Cleaning It is important to keep your Bonfire in good condition to prolong its life. Clean the bike after riding and follow the "Regular Inspection" checklist. Charge the bike to a state of charge of at least 30%.
  • Page 17 Bonfire. 1.6.4. Accident In the event of an accident, please inspect your Bonfire for visual or structural damage. If you notice any damage that affects the handling of the vehicle, stop driving to avoid further damage to the vehicle, yourself, or the surrounding area.

    1.7. Troubleshooting If your motorcycle is not working properly, please read through the following use cases to find a solution. If you can't find your problem or a working solution, contact Black Tea Motorbikes directly. My motorcycle does not turn on First check if the battery, ignition lock and kill switch are properly turned on.

    1.8. Tools To properly maintain your Bonfire and keep it in good condition, we recommend that you always use quality tools and treat the motorcycle with care. If you are unable or unwilling to perform maintenance yourself, please contact someone who has the appropriate experience.

Es ist nun unsere Pflicht, unser Bestes zu tun, um dich mit Produktinformationen, Service und Ersatzteilen zu versorgen und dir ein müheloses Erlebnis zu bieten.

    Wir möchten, dass du und deine Mitmenschen sicher durch den Alltag kommen. Deshalb bitten wir dich, ein paar Dinge zu beachten, wenn du mit deiner Bonfire unterwegs bist. Halte dich an die Verkehrsregeln. Um das Risiko schwerer Verletzungen zu minimieren, solltest du stets eine Schutzausrüstung einschließlich eines Helms tragen.

    Benzin auf. Die Bonfire ist ein rein elektrisches Motorrad. Fahren Wenn du zum ersten Mal mit der Bonfire fährst, musst du einige Dinge beachten. Das Bike verfügt über einen Elektromotor mit sofortigem Drehmoment und einen Primärantrieb ohne Gangschaltung, was bedeutet, dass du die gesamte Kraft jederzeit über den Gashebel zur Verfügung hast.

Seriennummer des Controllers Die Seriennummer des Steuergeräts ist auf der Oberseite des Gehäuses angebracht und wird sichtbar, wenn eine der Seitenabdeckungen entfernt wird. Typenschild Die europäischen und US-amerikanischen Typenschilder befinden sich auf der rechten Seite des Unterrohrs.

    Bike noch eingeschaltet ist. Beende deine Fahrt 1. Klappe den Seitenständer aus und stelle sicher, dass die Bonfire stabil steht. 2. Um dein Motorrad auszuschalten, drücke einmal den Unlock Button (C). Nun sollten die Lichter und das Display ausgehen.

Leistungsmodus 1 - Eco Dieser Modus wird immer empfohlen, wenn du zum ersten Mal mit einer Bonfire fährst. Er hat eine begrenzte Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 65 km/h und eine sanfte Beschleunigung. Leistungsmodus 2 - Normal Mit einer Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 80 km/h und einer guten Beschleunigung ist dieser...
  • Page 31 Lade daher immer beide Batterien gleichzeitig auf mit den zwei mitgelieferten Ladegeräten auf. Solltest du eine Bonfire S oder Bonfire E haben, musst du nur eine Batterie anschließen. Display Auf dem Display kannst du den SOC (Ladezustand), deinen Fahrmodus, die Geschwindigkeit, den Kilometerzähler und die Uhrzeit ablesen.
  • Page 32 Motorkontrollleuchte Die Motorkontrollleuchte (orange LED neben dem Zündschloss) sollte beim Fahrzeugstart für 2 Sekunden aufleuchten und wieder erlöschen sollte es keine Fehler im elektrischen Antriebsstrang geben. Bitte beachte, dass nach Auftreten eines Fehlers die Motorkontrollleuchte für mindestens drei weitere Fahrten an bleiben wird und erst danach wieder erlischt.

    2.4.1. Vor und nach jeder Fahrt Um sicherzustellen, dass dein Bike immer in einem guten Zustand ist und um Verletzungen oder Schäden zu vermeiden, achte bitte darauf, dass du deine Bonfire immer mit den folgenden Schritten pflegst. - Überprüfe dein gesamtes Motorrad (gemäß Kapitel 3.2.) - Überprüfe die Räder (siehe Kapitel 3.3.)
  • Page 34 2.4.3. Räder und Reifen Die Räder sollten auf einen Druck von 230 kPa aufgepumpt werden. Kontrolliere deine Speichen regelmäßig. Du musst sicherstellen, dass sich keine losen Speichen im Rad befinden. - Prüfe, ob die Reifen mit dem richtigen Druck aufgepumpt sind. - Prüfe, ob das Reifenprofil mindestens 3 mm tief ist.

    Schiebe die Batterie-Sicherung nach oben. Nutze den Griff der Batterie, um sie aus dem Motorrad zu nehmen. Wichtig: Sei beim Umgang mit der Batterie immer vorsichtig. Wenn sie heruntergefallen ist, überprüfe sie visuell und wende dich an einen Mitarbeiter von Black Tea Motorbikes, wenn sie beschädigt ist. 2.5.2. Aufladen der Batterie Stecke das Ladegerät in die Steckdose und schließe dann die Batterie an.

    2.6. Besitz und Betrieb 2.6.1. Wartung und Reinigung Es ist wichtig, deine Bonfire in einem guten Zustand zu halten, um die Lebensdauer zu verlängern. Reinige das Bike nach dem Fahren und befolge die Checkliste "Regelmäßige Inspektion". Lade das Bike bis zu einem Ladezustand von mindestens 30 % auf. Schalte das Bike und die Batterie aus, wenn es länger als eine Woche nicht benutzt wird.
  • Page 37 Lenkschloss, indem du den Lenker ganz nach links drehst, den Schlüssel in das Lenkschloss auf der rechten Seite steckst und den Schlüssel drehst. Du wirst spüren, wie der Lenker in dieser Position verriegelt wird, so dass du deine Bonfire nicht mehr fahren kannst.

    Wenn dein Motorrad nicht richtig funktioniert, lese bitte die folgenden Anwendungsfälle durch, um eine Lösung zu finden. Wenn du weder dein Problem noch eine funktionierende Lösung finden kannst, kontaktiere Black Tea Motorbikes direkt. Mein Motorrad lässt sich nicht einschalten Prüfe zunächst, ob die Batterie, das Zündschloss und die Kill-Switch richtig eingeschaltet sind.

    2.8. Werkzeuge Um deine Bonfire ordnungsgemäß zu warten und in einem guten Zustand zu halten, empfehlen wir dir, stets Qualitätswerkzeug zu verwenden und das Motorrad mit Sorgfalt zu behandeln. Wenn du die Wartung nicht selbst durchführen kannst oder willst, wende dich bitte an jemanden, der die entsprechende Erfahrung hat.
