ALOGO MOVE PRO Manual

INTRODUCTION


Before starting to use your Move sensor, please read the complete instructions manual carefully, especially the safety instructions on our website: www.alogo.io/docs.
Before using for the first time, please charge your Move sensor for 3.5 hours with the supplied USB cable.

Included in the Box
Sensor:
Alogo Move Pro.
USB cable: To charge your sensor.
Hook: To attach your martingale or your training aids to your girth.
Measuring tape: To measure the distance between the sensor and the ground the first time the sensor is used on a new horse.

INSTALLATION

  1. Fasten to the girth
    Positioning of the sensor
    (make sure that the sensor is facing in the right direction)
    Ground :
    Face toward the ground
    Horse :
    Face against the horse
    LED, Button and USB :

  2. The sensor must be placed underneath the horse at the center, and facing in the correct direction.
    Attention: Any adjustments to the girth should be done equally on both sides so that the sensor remains in a central position.

    Start or stop recording

USE

To start recording a session.
Without smartphone

  1. Turning ON: Press the power button for 1.5 seconds until the red LED lights up. You can start recording when you see the pink LED.
  2. Recording: Press the power button once. The LED turns green and blinking, indicates the start of the recording.
  3. Stop: You can stop the recording by pressing once the power button of your Move sensor.
  4. Turning OFF: The sensor automatically turns off after 2 minutes if no movement is detected. You can switch it off by pressing the power button for 1.5 seconds until the red LED lights up.

Red LED
Blinks for a few seconds when switching ON or OFF. If it remains constantly lit, the memory is full.
Pink LED
Blinks while searching for a GPS satellite connection. Constantly lit means that the GPS is connected.
Green LED
Blinking: recording a current session.
Blue LED
Fast blinking: Bluetooth sensor connection available. Steady blinking: Sensor connected via Bluetooth.
LED Blue and Red
Blinking alternately: The Bluetooth connection has been lost. It continues for 30 seconds.
Yellow LED
Blinking: The Move sensor is in sync with the smartphone.

When the sensor is connected to a power source, the LED displays the charging status in green. If the battery level is low, the blinking will become slower.
The LED will turn OFF when the battery of your sensor is fully charged.

To start recording a session.
With smartphone

Please note: Bluetooth must be active on your smartphone.

  1. Turning ON: Press the power button for 1.5 seconds until the red LED lights up.
  2. Launch the "Alogo" app: Or download it from the AppStore or Google Play.
    • Create an account if you haven't already done so or log in with your credentials.
    • Settings tab
      Press "Sensor management" and select your Move sensor. The LED will blink blue once the connection is established. The next time the phone is used, it will automatically connect to the sensor that was last selected.
  3. Recording: Press the "Recording" button in the interface.
  4. Stop: Press the "Stop" button in the interface. You can also stop the session by directly pressing the power button on your Move sensor.
  5. Turning OFF: The sensor automatically turns off after 2 minutes if no movement is detected. You can switch it off by pressing the button for 1.5 seconds until a red LED lights up. To turn it off from the app, go to Settings > Sensor management > Select your sensor > Turn off.

Disconnection during recording
Your Move sensor works independently from the mobile app.
In case you lose your Bluetooth connection, your session continues to be recorded on the internal memory of your sensor.

SYNCHRONISATION

    Once your session(s) are over, the recordings are stored in the memory of your Move sensor.

  3. In order to view them, please open the "Alogo" application so that your sessions are synchronized with your smartphone and sent to our Cloud. Your phone needs to have an active internet connection.

RECOMMENDATIONS

  • We recommend to switch on your sensor before the riding session and to begin recording it when you start to work the horse.
  • The recording length of a session will have an impact on the Bluetooth transfer time.
  • In order to obtain the most accurate data, don't place any metallic or magnetic accessories around the sensor when in use.
  • Do not immerse the sensor in water or any other liquid.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Your Alogo Move Pro sensor has a built-in GPS chip. The accuracy of the GPS depends on several environmental factors such as weather, location and whether you are indoors or outdoors. If GPS reception is poor, for example in an indoor arena, some data will not be displayed. For more information, please refer to the instruction manual.

Safety instructions:
Do not expose your Alogo Move sensor to any violent impacts, such as dropping or throwing the device. Do not place magnetized objects near the Alogo Move sensor for long periods of time, as this may cause irreversible damage to the sensor.
After use, store the product in a dry place. Never attempt to disassemble or reassemble your product yourself. All repairs must be carried out by a representative certified by Alogo Analysis SA.
We recommend that you use your Alogo Move sensor in a temperature range between -20°C and +50°C (-4°F and 122°F). Prolonged use outside of this temperature range may cause irreversible damage to components, especially the battery, and provide inaccurate data.
The sensor is equipped with an internal lithium polymer battery (3V, 3000mAh). If used improperly, the internal battery may explode or release dangerous chemicals. Never disassemble, crush or puncture the battery. Do not dispose of it in fire or water.
Communication is wireless via Bluetooth Low Energy 4.2+, 2.4Ghz Protocol. The transmission speed and range of the sensor with your smartphone depends on the distance between them and any other obstacles in between, such as the horse, a person or a wall.
