the Vario power pack by sliding the guide
post into the line hole of the Vario power
pack or standard Cinema power bar.
2. While holding the base of the STABIL
G3 grab the folded front bar and lift
upwards until the bar slides in completely
flush. Keep hands clear of the connection
joint to avoid injury.

Compacting:

Fold the top arm against the STABIL G3
base by pulling the front bar completely
forward and then down. Pull the whole arm
and fold into the vest.

Adjusting the tension on the Vario 5

If you have a Vario 5, adjust the power
pack to match your camera setup.
While adjusting the tension of the power
pack make sure to lock the arm or
hold it at the lowest position to avoid
interference from the STABIL G3.
For further details please read the Vario
5 user manual.

Adjusting the tension on the STABIL G3

Increase the tension of the spring by turning
the knob clockwise. The Easyrig STABIL G3
can stabilize camera setup weights between
5-25 kg (11-55 lbs) but is limited to the
maximum weight capacity of the power pack
it is combined with.
The Easyrig STABIL G3 is adjusted correctly
if the arm is resting between the lowest and
highest position when a camera or gimbal is
attached.
