Navitar 654MCL1028 Installation Instructions

Navitar/NuView Series 654 lens on ASK / PROXIMA C440, C450 & C460
projectors.
TOOLS REQUIRED: FLAT HEAD SCREWDRIVER

Disassembly:

1. Disconnect unit from power source and place projector with lens facing up. Remove two
(2) screws from bottom cover of lens. Remove cover and set aside for reinstallation.
2. Remove prime lens by depressing the lever on the left side of the prime lens and rotating
the lens counter-clockwise.

Assembly:

1. Ensure that your Navitar lens and its adapter are separate (except on MCZ275). Position
the adapter with the 'up' label in the correct position and slide the adapter into the
projector ensuring proper engagement. Rotate the lever counterclockwise until the
adapter is securely in place.
2. Replace the front cover of the projector removed in step 2, above.
3. Install the lens by gently rotating clockwise as it is inserted into the adapter.
4. To focus, gently twist the front of lens. To zoom, loosen thumbscrew and twist knurled
ring (zoom lenses only, of course). Re-tighten thumbscrew. CAUTION: Do not twist
entire lens out of adapter! On MCZ275 models twist the inner knurled ring to zoom and
twist the outer knurled ring to focus the lens.
