    Preparation: Selection of the installation point Switch off the engine and open the bonnet (or any other access to the car battery). Make sure that the ignition has been switched off along with all electricity consumers. If the car battery has a cover, open it and then follow the installa- tion instructions.

    The removal of the negative cable can lead to data loss in electrical devices (radio, CD player, board computer, etc.). This data loss can be prevented by using a data back-up device.     Step 5: Installing the alarm siren • Attach the alarm siren with the help of the two enclosed screws at a suitable point on a random metal part of the vehicle; in this process, attach the black ground cable of the siren between the screw head and the metal holder of the siren.

    The installation of the Cadillock Alarm is completed. Now the ® Cadillock Alarm is ready to use and protects your vehicle. ® C. Registration information / customer card PLEASE OBSERVE: Your customer card is included in the scope of delivery. The device number of your Cadillock Alarm is noted on this card.

    G. Guarantee The guarantee of the Cadillock Alarm is valid in case of defects and ® malfunctions for 24 months starting with the date of purchase. However, the guarantee does not apply to malfunctions from dam- ages caused by an accident, improper use, or a damage that was the result of a non-compliance with the installation and operating instructions.
