We encountered a problem with the pressure on our Stromme Mari clean during hydroblasting on deck. Stromme Model is MC 501-18 The hydrobar pressure only reaches 300 bar, the working pressure as per equipment is until 500 bars. Tried to troubleshoot but the issue has not been resolved. Suspected the relief valve is the cause of the problem, removed the relief valve for further checking. Fitted again and tested the machine but the max pressure reading is only until 300 bars. All other parts already checked but we did not manage to fix the issue. By the way, equipment was used on onboard ship.

A possible cause of low pressure in the Stromme Mari-Clean MC 501-18 during hydroblasting could be a clogged or dirty inlet filter, insufficient water flow, or low inlet water pressure.

To resolve it:
- Check and clean the inlet filter daily; replace it if needed.
- Ensure the minimum water flow is 1.5 times the rated capacity.
- Make sure the water pressure at the pump inlet is between 0.5 to 4 bar.
- Flush the pipeline before connecting the water hose to remove debris.
