The use of mobile phones while driving distracts the
driver from the traffic situation. Control of the vehicle
can be lost.
Only make calls with hands-free equipment.

Mobile phones must be turned off in certain hazard
zones, such as in the proximity of fueling stations,
fuel depots, chemical plants, and blasting zones.
They could interfere with technical equipment.
Observe instructions as well as legal regulations
and local restrictions.

Hands-free sound quality. The quality of the hands-
free feature may be affected by:
Fans, open windows or folded-down softtop,
wind or road noise,
poor connection to the cellular network,
high road speeds.

Dropped calls Calls may drop-out while driving. The
reasons for this are:
GSM network coverage is not sufficient.
All channels are occupied in the GSM cell
to which the vehicle switches.
The SIM card used is not network compatible.
Connecting a mobile phone via
Bluetooth®

Connecting a new mobile phone

To connect a mobile phone for the first time, proceed
as follows:
The Bluetooth® function of the mobile phone
is activated and visible to other devices.
The Bluetooth® function of the Porsche Classic
Communication Management Plus is activated.
1. Press the
Phone Manager button.

the
Phone

button.
2. Select the Search for new device menu option
and select the mobile phone from the device
list. A 6-digit Bluetooth® code is generated
and displayed in the Porsche Classic Commu-
nication Management Plus and in the mobile
phone.
3. Compare Bluetooth® code in the Porsche
Classic Communication Management Plus and
mobile phone.
4. Confirm the Bluetooth® code in the mobile
phone if it matches. If the mobile phone has
been successfully connected, the number
entry (Keypad
menu) is displayed in the
Porsche Classic Communication Management
Plus.
Information
For mobile phones with a Windows® and iOS® oper-
ating system, it is advisable to start the connection
from the mobile phone:
Search for available devices in the Bluetooth®
menu of the mobile phone.
Select the Porsche Classic Communication Man-
agement Plus from the list of available devices.
Bluetooth® function on/off
To activate/deactivate the Bluetooth® function (the
function is activated by default), proceed as follows:
1. Press the
Options
PHONE
settings button.
2. Activate or deactivate the Bluetooth on
checkbox to switch the Bluetooth® function
of the Porsche Classic Communication Man-
agement Plus on or off.
