Heavy Duty 20-Amp 2400-Watt Appliance Surge Protector
Smart Plug Kit with outlet saver power cord.
Contents:
• One protector in a plastic blister pack.
• 1- foot power extension cord (optional).
Preparation:
• If required, pull the appliance away from the wall, or enclosure,
to access its power outlet. Leave out for at least 1 hour to test.
• If there is another device plugged into the same outlet, use the
extension cord to plug it in after the protector install.
• It is a good idea to test the wall outlet is grounded and is wired
correctly using a "outlet tester".
Configuration:
• Using a flat screwdriver, set the lower voltage threshold level on
the back of the plug. We recommend setting it to 95V.
Install:
• Make sure the black power switch is in the off position (0) on the
front of the protector.
• Plug your appliance into the protector socket and then insert the
protector into the wall outlet.
• Turn on the protector switch (1).
LED status check:
• The
stable voltage is detected and the normal
• If the
lights are displayed for over 10 minutes, then read the
troubleshooting guide over the page.
• Run the appliance for 1-2 hours and check the LED status is ok.
Post Install:
• If required, use the 1-foot power cord to plug in any secondary
device into a double or triple outlet. It is preferable that only the
protector is plugged into the wall outlet and nothing else.
