In most cases, the force of the water will flush the sediment off the surface
of the filter. Close the valve again and you're done!
However, if the debris does not break loose, you may need to physically
remove the filter to clean it. To do this, shut off the water valves on BOTH
sides of the filter. Carefully unscrew and remove the clear canister. The filter
itself may then be pulled straight out and gently cleaned with a brush.

7. STORING A WELL-CONNECT

Before storing your Well-Connect, disconnect the power and water lines and
purge all water from inside the unit. Remove the batteries from the
thermostat (if applicable), and store your Well-Connect in a dry indoor
environment only.
