Basic Operation

1) Time setting mode

Rotate the knob to choose the city or time zone. Press "SET"key to set the time of the
city as local time, the icon "HOME TIME" will be displayed on LCD. Under the normal
time display status, press "SET" key, follow the order shown below to enter
corresponding status:

←Languages for day-of-week ←Date ←Month ←Year ←Minute ←Hour ←
A.
Press "SET" key to enter 12Hr/24Hr time format status, press "▲" or "▼" key to choose.
B.
Press "SET" key again to enter time and date setting status, following the order, you will be able to
reset second and set hour, minute, year, month, date by using the "▲" or "▼" key.
C.
Press "▲" or "▼" key to change five languages for day-of-week, press "SET" key to confirm.
D.
Rotate the knob to other city, the current time of that city and the icon "WORLD TIME" will be
displayed on LCD. If the current time of that city is daylight saving time, the icon "
displayed on LCD.
E.
Under the normal time display status, press "▼" key to switch over the display of ℉∕ ∕second.
Note: The daylight saving time of Cairo and Rio De Janeiro are dynamic and uncertain, but the clock will
come into daylight saving time of Cairo automatically on the last Friday at 0:00 in April every year, and exit
on the last Friday at 0:00 in August every year; In Rio De Janeiro the clock will come into daylight saving
time on the third Sunday at 0:00 in October every year and exit on the second Sunday at 0:00 in February
every year, so the end user can select daylight saving time by himself, just press and hold "▲" key for 2
seconds under the normal time display status to switch over between the daylight saving time and normal
time.

2) Alarm time setting mode

Under the normal time display status, press "MODE" key to enter the alarm mode, the "AL" icon will show
on LCD. Press "SET" key to enter alarm setting, follow the order below to set hour, minute by using the
"▲" or "▼" key.

Press "MODE" key to confirm and exit.
B.
Under the alarm mode, press "▲" key to activate or deactivate the alarm and snooze. The icon "
" and "
C. Activating the alarm function without the snooze will generate a continuous sound for one minute.
Press any key to deactivate the alarm.
D.
If the alarm and snooze function is activated, a one minute alarm will be generated every 5
minutes; and a total of 5 alarms in 5 minute intervals will be produced without pressing any
buttons. Press the "LIGHT/SNOOZE" key to temporarily deactivate the alarm sound (the snooze
icon will keep flashing). Press other key to cancel current snooze setting(the icon stops flashing).
E.
In order to deactivate the alarm and snooze function, press the "MODE" key then press "▲" key.
The alarm and snooze icons will then disappear.
