The arm that controls the ice maker is about 1/2 inch wide and made of plastic. it is referred as the wire arm that should be opened and closed, but the wide plastic piece will not move no power to the pump system???

the 1900 ice maker filled with water froze the ice and it has been there for 36 hours and has not dumped the ice. I was told to unplug the refrigerator for 20 minutes then plug it back it to reset the machine, it has now been 12 hours later and ice is still the maker not harvested yet. How do I contact someone for help???
