    SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS • PC 482DX4-100 MHz or higher • Available USB port • CR-ROM drive • Windows 98, ME, 2000, XP INSTALLING DRIVER IN XP Please, install the drivers first before to plug the USB to IrDA adapter. 1.- Load the CD with drivers into the CD-ROM. 2.- In the Welcome window, press Next.

  • Page 8 HOW TO TRANSFER FILES FROM AN INFRARED DEVICE TO PC AND VICE VERSA Transferring files from an infrared device to the computer: 1.- Enable the infrared sensor in your device (PDA, mobile). 2.- Choose the desired file to transfer to PC. 3.- Press Send or Beam (depending of the device).

  • Page 10 Transferring file from PC to an IR device: 1.- Place the device that you want to use as receiver in front of the adapter. Now, the IrDA adapter will detect the device. 2.- Press over the IR icon. 3.- In the new window, select the desired file to transfer, then press Send.

    4.- The device will request for an option, choose Yes to accept the incoming file or No to decline. 5.- The file transfer begins. 6.- After you sent the files, close the sending window. Please, refers to device user’s manual (mobile, PDA, etc.) to know what kind of files you can transfer and the way you can receive them.
