Do you have a question about the AA5170 and is the answer not in the manual?
Questions and answers
Hooked this to my Sony 85" TV I m using a digital converter to RCA cable it does not work, What am i doing wrong?
The issue could be that the digital converter only supports two-channel audio over the SPDIF optical output, while the Acoustic Audio AA5170 expects multi-channel analog input through RCA for full 5.1 surround sound. As a result, you may not get true surround sound when connecting via a digital converter to RCA cable.
