  • Page 14 If your local tap water is too calcareous, you are recommended to mix it with potable water before filling the iron’s water reservoir. When you use this iron for the first time, a slight smell might occur. It will normalize after using it a few times. If the reservoir runs out of water during ironing, plug out the power cord from the wall outlet and add water in the reservoir without waiting the iron to cool.

Thus the water in the reservoir falls down to the steam chamber, and scales of lime (if any) will fall out of the base plate’s holes.
