How to Install Installing the Ribbon Open the ribbon compartment. Insert a new ribbon and make sure it is secured. 90° Close the ribbon compartment. Installing the Paper Tray Pull the paper tray holder open. Rotate the holder vertically till it snaps to the paper tray bo om. 180° Open the paper tray opening, and insert the paper tray into the printer.
