2.1 Safety precautions NTRODUCTION The Clavaestacas JC300 is powered by the combustion of petrol in an alternative motor. It is equipped with a petrol deposit and an exhaust system that conducts and attenuates the gases produced by the combustion to minimise acoustic... - Page 12 Do not use the Clavaestacas JC300 for periods of time surpassing those detailed by the manufacturer in this manual. Always follow these general precautions to avoid injury when using the Clavaestacas JC300.

JC300. Furthermore, this section describes the consequences of a fuel supply failure. MERGENCY STOP The CLAVAESTACAS JC300 is not fitted with a specific emergency stop button. The on/off switch, which is located in the right handle next to the throttle trigger, acts directly upon the electronic ignition device. -

Page 23 Once the machine’s motor has started, it must be secured with both hands. Place the right hand on the throttle trigger handle and the left handle on the opposite handle. In this position, exhaust gases will be ejected away from the operator. WARNING Please do not forget to wear gloves, safety goggles and hearing protectors. -

Page 24 Always use both hands, gripping the post driver’s handles, and do not press the throttle trigger until the operator is in a firm, safe position to start operating. Page 26 NOTICE Cleaning. Clean any access or accumulation of oil or waste in the fan or exhaust area using a brush. Please keep the machine dry and clean at all times. The machine must be cleaned regularly using soft, dry cloths, and if needed, a mild cleaning agent. -
