When working on cooling systems always allow the vehicle to cool to avoid being burned or scalded by hot coolant. Always disconnect vehicle’s negative battery lead before working on electrical systems. This kit is reasonably complex to install.

Install heater and defrost mounting bracket, defrost duct (optional) with the end with tabs toward defrost duct mounting bracket (optional) as shown in Figure 2 and attach using supplied #10x1/2” mounting screws. Install heater supports bracket as shown in Figure 3 using supplied 5/16x5” bolts and 5/16 nuts.

Please Note: Before connecting the hoses to the Y and fittings, take a garden hose and run water through the heater hose and heater assembly. This will help remove air from the system and stop air locks, this step must be carried out.
