Brushless fuel pump controller. The factory manual should supersede any contradiction. Note: The Deatschwerks VB40a voltage booster is limited to 40amps. Increased flow results will stop when total pump(s) amperage hits 40amps. - Page 4 DeatschWerks VB40a 40amp Voltage Booster Installation Guide Wiring the Voltage Booster 1a – Follow the picture below for wiring your VB40aX1 single fuel pump booster. The Red wire should go to a switched 12v source that is key on power capable of handling 50amps. The Black wire should be grounded to the chassis or another suitable ground location.

Each Red wire should go to a switched 12v source that is key on power capable of handling 25amps. The Black wire should be grounded to the chassis or another suitable ground location.
- Page 6 Menu and Operations 3 – When powered on you will be greeted by a Deatschwerks splash screen. To access, navigate and change settings use the roller wheel on the top of the VB40a. To select items, click the roller wheel in.

If there is a lock set you will be shown the lock screen, enter the lock code if you have it. The default lock code is “4849” if it is present on a new booster. This will move you to the Status menu, this shows the current settings and the current voltage being output by the VB40a.
