Unauthorized antennas, modifications, or attachments could

DO NOT hold the antenna when the radio product is "IN
USE". Holding the antenna affects call quality and may cause the
radio product to operate at a higher power level than needed.

Electromagnetic
Interference/Compatibility
Note: Nearly every electronic device is susceptible to
electromagnetic interference (EMI) if inadequately shielded,
designed or otherwise configured for electromagnetic
compatibility.
Facilities
To avoid electromagnetic interference and/or compatibility
conflicts, turn off your radio product in any facility where posted
notices instruct you to do so. Hospitals or health care facilities may
be using equipment that is sensitive to external RF energy.
Aircraft
When instructed to do so, turn off your radio product when on
board an aircraft. Any use of a radio product must be in accordance
with applicable regulations per airline crew instructions.

Implantable Medical Devices

A minimum separation of six (6) inches should be maintained
between a handheld wireless phone and an implantable medical
device, such as a pacemaker or implantable cardioverter
defibrillator, to avoid potential interference with the device.
Persons who have such devices:
• Should ALWAYS keep the phone more than six (6) inches
from their implantable medical device when the phone is
turned ON;
• Should not carry the phone in a breast pocket;
• Should use the ear opposite the implantable medical
device to minimize the potential for interference;
