Before First Use: Read all instructions and safety information carefully before first use. Please retain this information for future reference. Remove the packaging and check for any visible signs of damage to the unit and cord. Wipe the unit with a soft damp cloth. Repeat the process for the other scissor blade. Once you have finished sharpening the scissors, press the On/Off switch to the ‘0’ position to turn off the knife sharpener. Unplug from the mains and press and hold the auto retractable cord button to wind the cord for storage.
The auto re-wind function: • After use, unplug from mains power outlet first and then press and hold the cord rewind button, the cord will wind back automatically. If the cord fails to rewind, then hold the power cord and press and hold the cord rewind button, the cord will rewind slowly. IMPORTANT! When the power cord is pulled out, do not force beyond the fully extended point or this can cause damage to the power cord.
