  • Page 2 PRODUCTION DATE IDENTIFICATION Production date and serial no. On the side of your PremiumPLUS regulator you can find the serial (12 digits) and part no. The unique serial no. is created from the date it is produced: year, month, day, hour, minute and second (YYMMDDhhmmss). Production date is first 6 digits (YYMMDD).

  • Page 4 2. DISASSEMBLY OF REGULATOR Remove the lid with a flat Fig. 2.1 tip screwdriver. Discard the lid. Release the tension on Fig. 2.2 the setting spring, by turning the setting screw counterclockwise with a flat head screwdriver, until the screw is loose. Place the service tool, so Fig.
  • Page 5 2. DISASSEMBLY OF REGULATOR Using a 24 mm wrench, Fig. 2.4 turn the service tool counterclockwise until the Tamper Evident Ring breaks. Release the Bonnet Fig. 2.5 completely by hand – the Bonnet is to be reused. Discard the broken Tamper Evident Ring.
  • Page 6 2. DISASSEMBLY OF REGULATOR Lift up the Diaphragm. Fig. 2.7 Separate the diaphragm Fig. 2.8 washer from the diaphragm. Reuse the washer and discard the diaphragm. Place the service tool, Fig. 2.9 so that it locks into the geometry of the Cartridge. MICRO-MATIC.COM...
  • Page 7 2. DISASSEMBLY OF REGULATOR Turn the service tool Fig. 2.10 counterclockwise by using a 24 mm wrench. Release the Cartridge completely by hand and discard it. Remove the Baffle plate Fig. 2.11 and reuse. Remove the old o-ring by Fig. 2.12 using the o-ring installation tool from the kit.
  • Page 8 3. ASSEMBLY OF REGULATOR Install carefully the new Fig. 3.1 o-ring in the groove by using the o-ring installation tool. DO NOT USE A SCREWDRIVER FOR THIS STEP! PIace the baffle Fig. 3.3 plate as shown in the picture. Install the new cartridge by Fig.
  • Page 9 3. ASSEMBLY OF REGULATOR Tighten the new Cartridge Fig. 3.5 with a torque of 5 Nm (± 0.5 Nm) or 44.25 Inch lbs by using the service tool and a torque wrench. Install the new Diaphragm Fig. 3.6 Position as shown in the photo.
  • Page 10 3. ASSEMBLY OF REGULATOR Place the diaphragm Fig. 3.8 washer on top of the diaphragm with the groove facing down as pictured. Fit the new Tamper Fig. 3.9 evident ring - orientated as shown in the picture. Place the setting spring Fig.
  • Page 11 3. ASSEMBLY OF REGULATOR Place bonnet on on Fig. 3.11 regulator body and turn clockwise. Place the service tool and Fig. 3.12 tighten it with a torque of 33 Nm (± 3 Nm) or 292 inch lbs by using a torque wrench.
  • Page 12 4. TESTING LEAK TEST Fig. 4.1 Connect the regulator to a gas cylinder. Pressurize the regulator and detect for leaks with Leak Detection Spray or soapy water, externally on regulator.
