CONGRATULATIONS Congratulations, you have just adopted your Starfleet Explorer, created from a partnership between La Manufacture L’Épée 1839 and MB&F. Starfleet Explorer has been developed with passion and care by our master watchmakers in Delémont – Switzerland...
IMPORTANT INFORMATION PLEASE, BE VERY CAREFUL TO NEVER TOUCH THE MOVEMENT OF THE STARFLEET EXPLORER : RISK OF DAMAGE. NEVER TOUCH THE COMPONENTS COLORED IN RED IN THE FOLLOWING PICTURE.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE Use only a soft and dry cloth to clean the clock. Dust and particles contained in the cloth could scratch parts. Do not use any kind of cleaning products to clean the clock. It is recommended to keep the clock distant from any source of heat or vibrations.
WINDING UP THE MOVEMENT Place the clock upside down on a flat surface and wind up the movement (see point A on the following picture) anti-clockwise with the larger diameter hole of the key. The movement must be fully wound every 8 days. Be sure to wind up the spring completely, but without forcing it.
SETTING THE TIME Place the clock upside down on a flat surface and wind up the movement (see point B on the following picture). Use the smaller diameter end of the key and turn the hand-set- ter anti-clockwise or clockwise to set the time.
