  • Page 5 Features There are different Easybike models: o EASYBIKE-27: 27-gear with dual gear shifting units and double wire brake levers. o EASYBIKE-8F & EASYBIKEKID-8F: 8-gear built-in hub with Thumb Control shifting unit or Revoshift and single wire lever. o EASYBIKE-8CR & EASYBIKEKID-8CR: 8-gear built-in hub with Revoshift control and coaster brake.

    Preparation for use The Easybike is supplied configured according with the order form selection to ensure the most convenient setup to match the customer needs. In order to be properly connected to a specific wheelchair, therefore, some additional adjustments may be required. Please follow this manual instructions perform the final set-up of the device to match your wheelchair.

  • Page 10 Stand the Easybike on the proper stands in front of the wheelchair. o Place the wheelchair front tubes very close to the Easybike fastening clamps. o Make sure the fastenings clamps are open. o Make sure the latch is off. o Make sure the fastening clamps are perfectly matching the wheelchair front frame tubes and eventually, adjust the clamps position, if needed.

  • Page 18 Eventually adjust the fastening clamps if necessary, as follows: 1. The fastening clamps have to be open. 2. The latch has to be off. 3. Loosen the locking collars which fix the arms on the central body to adjust the width of the fastening arch. 4.
  • Page 19 o Before fastening the clamps on the front frame tubes, secure the locking collars making visually sure that arms symmetrically inserted in the body of the Easybike. o Fasten the clamps on the wheelchair front frame, fix properly each handle of the clamps.
  • Page 20 Please consider that the user arms have to be almost completely straight in the maximum pedal extension position. Therefore, if the Easy-bike handle cranks are too low and close to the body, or too high and therefore distant, it means that the user cannot perform a complete, correct and smooth rotation.
  • Page 21 Note: o To obtain a correct tilt set-up of the bike, the arms must be symmetrically adjusted. A pen mark is suggested as reference point on the arm teeth. Each teeth step determines a rotation of 8° of the arm.     Warranty terms The Easybike frame is guaranteed for 3 (three) years from the delivery date. Register your wheelchair on our website www.offcarr.com. The label showing the serial number, the manufacturer address and the CE symbol cannot be removed for any reason to preserve the warranty validity. Parts subject to normal wear and tear are not covered by the warranty, unless wear is caused by evident manufacturing fault.

    Packaging, shipping and delivery All the OFFCARR products are shipped in closed cardboard cases to protect them from bumps and dust. The package includes the Easybike configured according with the purchased order form, this Instruction manual and a tool kit. The Easybike must be transported by trucks that protect it from atmospheric agents, as specified on the packaging box.
